This plate has been hanging around since the spring! My first-stage print had a very unsatisfactory sky… After stripping it away and adding a new aquatint, I have got something I am happy with. So there are now seven prints in the Newlyn series. I will be displaying four of them at the Gurnards Head Hotel on the north coast of Cornwall in November, along with three from the Helford series, as ‘Artist of the Month’.
